# Image credits – stock photos

All photos in this folder are CC0 1.0 (public domain dedication). No attribution is legally
required; we credit the creators anyway. Files were cropped (4:3), resized and re-encoded (AVIF/WebP).
Every photo was looked at before use: no other brands' apps or logos, no identifiable children's faces.

Edits to `elders-*`: cropped to 4:3 around the faces and mirrored horizontally, so both faces stay visible
next to the phone on the stage.

Edits to `hand-phone-*`: white background removed (soft alpha matte), the real Clypa home screen
(`public/images/app/live-home-{light,dark}`) composited into the blank display with a status bar,
the notch kept on top, and a subtle screen glare added. The wrist fades out at the bottom edge.

Found via Openverse (https://openverse.org), StockSnap (all photos CC0, the photo pages say "CC0 license. No
attribution required.") and the Wikimedia Commons API (license field "CC0", checked 2026-10-28). StockSnap
sources are only available up to 960 px wide here, so those files list their real widths in `PHOTO_WIDTHS`
(src/config.ts) instead of claiming 1600 px.

Rejected on review (not used): "Phonography at night" (Commons, CC0) shows a Sony logo and a third-party
camera app; several StockSnap family photos show identifiable children's faces.
